Personal VPN - OpenVPN and Windows 7

 

OpenVPN will run properly on Windows 7.

 

Installing:

 

Download your OpenVPN installer. Make sure it is version 2.3.6 or greater . Save to a folder or your desktop.

 

 

Right click on the file and select Run as Administrator.

 

The installation will now proceed and OpenVPN will be properly installed.

 

Running OpenVPN:

 

Locate the file ' openvpn-gui.exe '

 

Right click and select Run as Administrator.

 

 

OpenVPN will open in the lower right hand task bar as an icon. Right click on the icon to connect.
